The most important functions at a glance

Direct access to all your saved entries from the popup:

Quick open: One click is enough to open your saved website.

Sort: Arrange your entries flexibly by newest/oldest or alphabetically.

Filter entries: Use tags, favorites or the search to find exactly the entries you're looking for.

Create note: Create standalone notes directly in TAKO, completely independent of saved web pages.

Functions: The functions available for an entry can be set in the settings.

Save website: Save any website with just one click directly into the TAKO popup. Here, besides the URL, a page title, a favicon, a short description and an image of the page content are saved.

Assign tags: Organize your links with individual tags or choose from existing tags. Find exactly what you're looking for in no time!

Tags: The used tags are displayed in ascending alphabetical order (a-z). If a tag is no longer assigned to a page, it automatically disappears from the list.

Pin: Mark important pages so they're always visible at the top. Pinned pages are not considered in the sorting.

Tags: If the tag feature is active, the tags are visible in the popup.

Favorite: Give stars to your favorite articles.

Delete entries: No longer relevant? Simply delete and create space.

Edit entry: Modify title, description, and URL of your saved entries afterwards.

Customize TAKO to your needs

On the settings page you can optimally tailor TAKO to you and customize the user experience:

Enable or disable functions like delete, favorites, tags, pin and edit.
Choose between pagination (max. 7 entries per page, as Chrome limits the popup height) or infinite scrolling for a complete overview.
Decide whether you want to see thumbnails or favicons.
Specify whether it should display the age of the respective entry.
Adjust the width of the popup window.
Export all your entries as CSV or JSON file.
Import the official Pocket CSV export.
Import TAKO export (backup, JSON file).
Have all existing entries checked for completeness and, where possible, automatically supplemented with information.
Connect TAKO with Notion and synchronize saved entries/pages for cross-device access.
Save links directly via the right-click context menu – metadata such as title, description and image are automatically enriched.
Save pages via keyboard shortcut – metadata such as title, description and image are automatically enriched.
Delete all local data.

With the free Notion app for your smartphone, you can also save pages to TAKO while on the go.

Share the website you want to read later via Notion.
Simply select the 'TAKO - Read it later' database/page in Notion.
If needed, you can add tags and a description before saving. To do this, enlarge the Notion popup with the arrow in the lower right corner.

Pocket users, pay attention!

You can easily import all your previous Pocket entries into TAKO. To do this, export your Pocket list as described at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/exporting-your-pocket-list. Only official Pocket exports are supported.

Important: According to Mozilla, you have the possibility to export your saved pages until October 8, 2025. After that, Mozilla will delete all Pocket accounts.
